What’s our story?
Jitterbug Toys was started by myself, an ordinary mum of two after struggling to find individual and stylish wooden toys for my two young children.
It all began with an outlet in the picturesque and quaint market town of Oundle, Northamptonshire where I soon realized that the passion for sourcing good quality and unique wooden toys was not only a local one but a global one. Inundated with compliments from visitors to the area wishing they could get our fantastic range of toys in their hometown, I decided to spread the bug a little further and created Jitterbug Toys online.
I launched the website in summer 2010, offering our unique range of toys and gifts to the whole of the UK and beyond. (…well it would be selfish not to!)
Due to great success Jitterbug Toys is now a completely online business. I aim to offer the same friendly and helpful buying experience that our customers received in our shop although in the comfort of your own home or workplace. My passion is to supply every customer with a unique toy or gift and I look out for new and exciting ranges from all over the world to ensure this.
I also offer a gift wrapping service to complete that special gift, and giving you the option of one less thing to worry about.

Jitterbug Toys originated as a traditional toy shop based in the picturesque market town of Oundle, Northamptonshire. However following the success of a growing online business it has now become a purely online toy shop supplying a broad range of traditional wooden toys to the UK and beyond.
